Dear patients: We hope you are all well. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months and we are all looking forward to resuming our normal routines. While many things have changed, we remain committed to promoting and maintaining the health of our patients, staff, and community. As of Monday, May 11th, we are cautiously moving forward with the re-opening of our dental office. Our goal is to slowly return to a normal schedule over the next couple weeks.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and we continue to follow recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). As a result of COVID-19, we have updated some of our daily procedures. Some changes may be temporary, others permanent, but all share the goal of keeping all of us as safe and healthy as possible.

  • For now, we will ask that only the patient being seen attend their appointment (with the obvious exception of underage minors attending with a parent or guardian). We unfortunately need to temporarily minimize or eliminate overflow of guests into our reception area.
  • We may ask you pre-screening questions related to the symptoms of COVID-19, have you sign an updated informed consent form, take your temperature, ask you to do a pre-procedural mouth rinse or use additional equipment that limits the generation of aerosol.
  • New patients will be encouraged to complete and return paperwork electronically to minimize physical contact.
  • If there are any changes to your account or insurance coverage, we will ask you notify us prior to your appointment so that we may verify this information electronically and with no physical contact.
  • Please know that as we keep our distance physically, we do wish we could shake hands and hug all of you!

We have reactivated our reminder system for those of you who have upcoming appointments. Please know we understand fully if you do not feel comfortable attending a dental appointment at this point in time; we only ask you give us early notice so we may accommodate other patients. Please be patient with us as we attempt to contact everyone whose appointments have been impacted by the office closure. If you are expecting a call and are not contacted over the next couple weeks, please reach out to us.

If there are any additional concerns that can be addressed, please reach out and let us know. Thank you so much for your support during these difficult times!
